Jeff Moyle, 30, local businessman and a resident of Portage Entry in Chassell Twp. passed away on Sunday September 14, 2008 from injuries sustained in a parasailing accident.
He was born on August 13, 1978 in Laurium, a son of Thomas Jr. and Denise (Pichette) Moyle.
Jeff graduated from the Lake Linden Hubbell High School with the class on 1996. He later went on to attend Michigan Tech and received a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.

On April 6, 2002 he was married to the former Kim Gagnon, and on November 15, 2007 became a proud daddy to their beautiful daughter Gracie.
Jeff worked for the family business, Moyle Construction, since the age of 12 and in 2005 he took over the day to day operations of the business. In January of 2006 he was proud to have bought out all the stock in the construction business and take over the responsibility of CEO and President from his father Tom. Jeff and Kim also owned Aaron’s Sales and Lease in Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie and Tropical Escapes Tanning.
Jeff lived life to the fullest, whether it was his work at the business or his racing career. He was an accomplished racer, both on water and land. He was recently a top competitor in the Rally America Series, which led to an opportunity to show case his skills at the X-Games in Los Angeles, CA this summer. Jeff’s success as a rally driver began in 2007 in the Rally America Series and quickly made a name in the rally community as a quick learner and fierce competitor. Moyle most certainly used his snowmobiling racing experience to be successful in rally. Jeff was a competitor who did everything to the best of his ability before moving on to his next goal.
