The Subaru Imprezas have closed the Italian Rally Championship with a new fantastic success overall by the crew Piero Longhi & Maurizio Imerito: the winner of the famous Rally Costa Smeralda based in Porto Cervo. The Subaru Italia’s crew has signed great performances just from the start - immediately 2nd overall - and jumped to the top at the end of the first leg.

In the Leg 2, Piero and Maurizio have perfectly managed the race, closing the rally with 26 sec of gap. Unlucky the rally for the other Subaru Italia’s crew, Andrea Aghini e Massimiliano Cerrai, out of road and retired in the SS4. The Rally Costa Smeralda was also the round 6 of 7 of the 2007 Subaru Impreza Cup. The very fast driver Luigi Ricci (7th overall) was the winner in the race but the crew Emanuele Dati & Alessandro Giusti, 3rd for the Cup, have gained the points to win the 2007 Subaru Trophy.
