I just finished my disc converson on my 97 obs. Swaped in '05 wrx knuckles and calipers. The guy I got it from had a set of slotted and drilled rotors to go with it. added some Goodridge SS lines, my rig stops on a dime. cant wait to try them out in some dirt.

Congrats. One of the best upgrades for that car short of a swap.

Very nice! I was fortunate enough that mine came with rear discs from the factory:D
I do need to get some SS lines and new rotors though.
Enjoy your new stopping power!

theres a step by step guide on Nasioc (sorry Dirty) that was on my exact car. so that helped. other than that It was pretty straight forward

Did you use the spilter(or something of that nature) that is on the all disc setups, that way the braking balance is equal?

Just throwing this out for anyone considering this conversion. Depending on personal preference some people like the balance better without changing the F/R bias. The drum setup has more rear bias to it from the factory and so when you switch to discs there is a lot more bite on the rear end. Personally I like mine that way as I feel the car is much easier to control the rotation in all conditions.

after driving it for a while it feels good not adjusting the f/r balance. it feels more equal and predictable, especially in the dirt. im not gonna mess with it.
