Stay on the road!!! Ha Ha j/k I'm just jealous...But my best advice would be to get ur left foot braking down pat. I do that whenever I think I'm racin on mountain roads.

not that kind of rally ;)
I wish we had some TSD's around here....I'm doing the Alcan5000 in February, and I need to practice.

For your first event just concentrate on not getting lost. Just keep it on the road and keep about 5mph over CAST and you'll be fine.
Listen to your co-driver. Don't talk to them more then you have to. I'm not being funny. Co-drivers are busy and they will be concentrating on calculations. Most importantly of all just have fun.
I take it you are in stock class?

this particular rally is geared towards newbies, so the classes are experienced/equipped, novice, and first-timer.
thanx for the tip

If you're interested in doing a TSD or Monte Carlo style rally in southern california, theyre held pretty often. I always think about doing one, then something comes up and i bail.

Good luck man! Keep it on the road and remember the flik is harder to do on pavement. You need to find another way to get the rear loose. Take lots of pics too! I want to see how much fun you are having!

Oh, and don't forget to use the head BEFORE the race starts - unless that Depends sponsorship has finally come through for ya

A TSD rally is not a race....don't mistake it for a stage rally
