So like on my sedan my 1994 turbo wagon wont start. Drove it to work and then when i cam out five minutes later it would crank but no start. I replaced spark plugs, and wires last week. My buddy came and we put gas in it just in case it had run out but still it will crank but doesnt turnover. It has some codes I will put up later. Should I try the coil I have an extra. The intake is missing a piece right after the black canister after the airbox, which i put a cuppler over and it helped a bit.

can you elaborate a bit.
your intake is missing a piece?

what codes are you showing?

crank sensor could be dead.....

but let's see your codes first.

There's no need in going any further trying to diagnose it until you pull those codes. That's the first thing you should always check if CEL comes on.. Post the numbers they're throwing and I can tell you what they're for. My EJ20G uses the same OBD1 codes..

Did you clear the codes and see if the CEL stayed off?

although your car started up, keep the crank sensor in mind the next time you have a crank/no start. sometimes crank sensors will act up when the engine is hot, but will start working again when the engine cools.
