What/How did you guys handle the holes after removing your spoiler? Sealed it with what? Did you have to do alot?

I'm considering removing my wing, but haven't thought about what to do with the holes... anyone with suggestions?
I don't want to go head over heels trying to seal it, but something cheap and effective would be nice.

I didn't take the wing off. You simply unbolt the whole trunk and trade with another Subaru owner. That's what i did.

I even kept my STi badges.

Now with an 2.5RS, maybe you could trade with an L owner?

Well, I can consider that too... that;s actually a great idea Aaron.
but at the same time, my friend is thinking about selling me his wing.. now he has a ver 5/6 wing and the bolts are in the middle, mine are at the ends, so i might do a trunk swap with him (hes got an 01 rs). then just gotta paint it white.

I'm in a pickle.. I dunno if I wanna go wingless or get that wing. Maybe i should put up a poll?

The holes should line up... I've never read of ver5/6 wing, replicas, etc, having a different pattern for the trunk than our little spoilers.
That is interesting.
Does he have heavier springs too for the trunk? Swap those over as well...

I'm a huge fan of the ver5/6 wing...get it.

the holes we believe line up, they're just on different spots, like i said, his are in the middle, ours are at the ends. but if i drill the holes for his wing on my trunk, they would cover up the holes from my previous wing..

I think i really may get that wing.. they're really nice.

if you want, get someone to make you colormatched vinyl decals and just put them over the holes.
maybe not the best looking way, but it works and looks great from afar lol.

All I did was put body push pin things in then just used auto/marine silicone to make it waterproof and the silicone will just peel up and won't hurt the paint if you want, it looks good Imoa
