I will be running my first rallyx on Feb 10th at the SVR event. I'll be using stock wheels with all-seasons (not RE92s) just wondering what a good place to start with tire pressures would be? I've heard that running upwards of 40-45psi is good, not sure if this is true though??

Depending on the surface you are running on, that might influence the PSI amount.
Most of the events out here are on gravel or hardpack dirt so i generally run a pretty high amount of pressure in the front and rear. (about 42 front / 40 rear, to keep the tires from rolling over) Keep in mind that as the tires heat up from your runs they will be expanding so keep an eye on how high they get throughout your run group.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with some PSI settings, as i'm far from an expert.

what are your A/S's rated for?
I've always run just a hair under what the max PSI is for the tires, as I want to make sure my tires don't roll off the bead.
I couldn't give you an exact pressure... but 40-45psi sounds kind of high... A lot will depend on what profile tires you have and how stiff the sidewall are.

I have run 32 psi all around and done well. I don't really know anything about anything though.

I did 3 seasons of rally-cross, and I never used anything but my regular pressure. I don't have a compressor or anything, so I just drove out, kicked ass, and drove home. The last full season I did, I finished 4th overall in Production GT (obviously before I turbod my car). Seemed to work for me.

+1 on the surface type, The event we have had at Fowlerville I have ran stock pressure and have been completely fine.
Now Bob's race way was super packed clay and I rolled a bead on 40 psi along with 15 other people that day.
for crystal raceway with the weather the way it is it should be fairly soft on top so start with 40 or so.

It depends a lot on the surface and your driving style. I usually run 35 - 38 in my blizzaks on my TS. But, I also avoid getting it sideways or using lots of steering input anywhere that the surface has torn up.
The majority of the bead issues that I see are from understeering into corners and rolling the tire under. Or hitting the back of the car against berms while sliding.

totally depends on the surface and the tire. i wouldnt run less than 40 psi on a 50 or 55 series tire. if you have 17s or are running a lower profile tire you might get away with less. it also depends on how you drive. i popped beads on rally tires before so anything can happen.

I might try to run 10 psi this weekend at the Test and Tune if I can get the super glue to hold.

Beadlocks... J/k I ran 40 psi at the last event I went to and it was about 30 degrees out too. I've been a bad car owner I haven't checked my psi since that last even and never lowered it afterward and that was in Feburary.

from what i've gathered...it's good to run 40-45 in snow, and 35-40 in dirt/gravel. 8)

At the last rallycross event i was at, i ran 45 in the front, 42 in the rear. simply because the surface was brutal! I didnt want to get any rocks wedged in there!
see for yourself! fortunately we had 2wd classes run before us to clear out the big rocks. LOL

At the last dirt event I went down to 27psi with the gravel tyres on a fairly hard packed surface. My times were quicker than the runs at 32psi
I never go higher than 35
