Hey guys,
I was looking into the Spec Clutch stage 2+ for my car with a ACT Streetlight Flywheel. Im not sure if that is a good combo. I really havent heard much about Spec and dont know if they are a good company. Let me know what you think about them. Also if you think that combo is a good combo or if I should go with the Spec fly wheel as well.
Thanks for all the help on this

I dont really know a whole lot about the Spec clutches, but i would assume any of the ACT's would work well with their flywheel...
I do know that we did interviews with Exedy and ACT at SEMA this year, check out the vids if you want to see some of their new products for 07.

I had a spec stg 2 in my car for about 8k miles before it got stuck to the flywheel. I still can't figure out why it didn't last. Went back to OEM this time and it's working fine.

Spec blows. I had a stage II that couldn't hold on a SBR GT30-12. My oem clutch held on my GT35R (.82 hotside, 390awhp).
I had a act clutch on my '03 and it held. For my current build I went with an ACT 6 puck with sprung hub.
Are you a 5 or 6 speed?

Since your running a 5 speed, I would suggest another oem clutch. If your clutch is fine, just replace the disc.
Running an aftermarket clutch = a higher probability that the trans will go boom.
