This is a complete Weld In Roll Cage Kit that if installed properly*, will pass scrutineering / tech at any race track or rally race event in North America.

Kit includes:

All tubes are made from 1.75" OD x 0.120" thick DOM seamless steel.

All tubes are pre-bent to fit very close to the body shell. Your vehicles interior will need to be modified or removed. This kit IS designed to clear the stock front seats.

All tubes and gussets in the main hoop will come pre-welded exactly as seen in the images.

Both rear down tubes come pre fitted so that the main hoop can easily be installed.

All other tubes will come with at least one end of the tube pre-notched. As with any Weld In Roll Cage, final fitting and welding is required.

All Mounting Plates are included. These Mounting Plates are high quality, pre-fabricated units.

All pictured Taco Style Gussets are also included in this kit. Also, 4 additional Taco Gussets are included that are not pictured. These additional 4 Taco Gussets are for use on the door "X" braces.

I am in no way shape or form trying to start an argument, but the cage shown in the pics above did NOT pass log book like AutoPower said it would. NASA logbook to be exact. I think the owner has sense contacted AutoPower. I was able to help add the gussets that were needed.

This is NOT an attack on Safe Drives I just hope they can work the bugs out with AutoPower sense the owner of the car was pretty ticked off and did not want to deal with them any more.

Thanks for pointing out this issue. The discription of the cage has always said, "If installed properly" and in this case installing properly meant adding gussets. As always you should read the rules for which you are building to. Some sanctioning bodies will require additonal tubes or gusset to be added but this kit is a solid base to start from and WILL pass tech if installed properly. I will edit the OP and the safedrives.com description to reflect this.

As Safe Drives mentioned, be sure to consult the rule books for any sanctioning bodies that run rallies you are interested in to be sure you have the proper gusseting, etc to compete!

ive been contemplating getting this cage or not... ive been talking to Kyle Jackson for over a year now about a cage. im not (by any means) a "Baller". with that being said, im starting to lean toward a more budget friendly cage. knowing me, the chances of me destroying my car within the first year of rally are high and it would kill me to spend $3,000+ on a beautiful Jackson Rally cage and have it be useless after a big "off".

anyway, ill be back if this is the way i go ;)

Certainly any proper weld in roll cage is better than no cage at all... The cage in this advert, whilst budget friendly, still is far better than rally cages of even just ten years ago. This kit is also a good place to start from, you can add to at any time. :)
