Hey
My name is Jonny. I drive a '93 Impreza L AWD, which I'm looking to build up into a daily driver that can handle some off-roading.
As of right now it's pretty much stock.
In the near future, I'm definately picking up some rally tires and skidplates. The trails around here are pretty rocky.
I'm still debating whether or not it's worth it for me to swap the engine.
I'll get some pics up as soon I get her dirtier.
If you got any suggestions for me off the bat, that would be great.
Thanks for having me.

Wow, if youre considering some heavy modifications to the L wagon, pickup the latest issue of subiesport. They added a turbo to naturally aspirated L on the stock motor. Very cool write up. I know its not a motorswap like you mentioned, but its still quite the task.
Also, welcome to the forums! Get yourself a skidplate and some mudflaps and youll be able to tackle some dirt roads... :)

Welcome to the boards! Can't wait to see pics of your L.
Do you plan on doing any rallycross with it?

OhhJonny, welcome.
Where are you're rocky trails located?

As of right now, I don't think it would be a good idea for me to do rally cross.
I'm quite young and still learning as much as I can.
As too where these trials are, I live in Northeastern PA.
We're notorious for mines and silt pits.
Most of the paths leading to these places are pretty weathered though.
There are some nice dirt and gravel roads, too.

It is always a good time to do RallyX. I can't wait for the next one in two weeks.
