I just recently purchased the Group A Performance Lightweight Crank Pulley from Paul over at TeamIlluminata.com .. I received my pulley today, so I snapped a picture for your viewing pleasures. I will be installing this next week sometime, so stay tuned for a better review!

This is a great looking pulley! It is bronze in color and has a bunch of A's cut out on the inside to keep the weight down. Speaking of weight, this thing only weighs a hefty 1.5lbs! Made out of 6061 Aluminum and CNC milled. This is NOT a under drive pulley.

I can not wait to install this bad boy!

sweet man... enjoy the improved throttle response. I have the perrin lightweight crank pulley in the STi... i did notice a difference.

Breaking the crank bolt was probably one of the hardest bolts i've ever broken. It took me and my friend + a huge breaker bar and cheater pipe to loosen it up. It also helps to have someone in the car to hold the brake to keep your car from trying to move ;)

Did you need a pulley puller to get the stock one off?

Nice. I take it that will help keep the engine from holding RPM's for so long after letting off the gas?

BTW, I think I'm going to be buying this from group A performance:

Muffler bearings are the best!! LMAO!!

I installed the pulley last night at work. EASY install, took all of 20min. The car at start up seemed to jump to life a little faster then usual, sweeeet! Took her for a trip, seems to rev a little faster when I get on it. The throttle response is way better! When I lightly tap the pedal, the motor actually revs unlike before. This should help out Heel-Toe some. For the money I think its a worth while mod (at least for the amount that I paid for it)...

Yeah, replacing the crank and/or alternator pulleys with lightweight versions is something I want to do. Nice to hear that it actually gives a noticeable difference.

I want one. No, not the muffler bearing. I already have one of those with synthetic fluid.

I can not see the alternator pulley making any kind of difference. The stocker can not weigh that much... Can it?

 nice...lmao my budget wasn't that big...

did the pulley give you any launch difference? or is it just the response from the engine?

I don't launch my car unless I am on dirt. My next rallyX is on the 18th, so I will find out then.

Hey guys, I sell Group A parts. I'm just waiting for Aaron to grant me Vendor status and I'll make a post and introduce myself better.
