ok idk whats up with my car jsut got home i gotta check it out in the morning but when ever i shift and when i put the clutch in the rpms dont drop.. say im rolling at 50 mph and im at 3000 rpm's and i hold the clutch in still coasting it takes a good 5 seconds for my engine to start coming down. its like my throttle is stuck or something but its not... also when i come to a complete stop the rpms drop to about 200 almost dies jumps up to like a grand and repeats about 3 times before coming to a normal idle.... ne ideas?!

Sounds to me like a vacuum leak or your gas cap is off. Check all the rubber hoses that connect to your intake.

checked everything and couldnt find ne bad hoses or connections... the only hose i did find that was cracked is coming out of my firewal and it bolts to something under the manifold... is that just a hose for the heater? and it looks like its been cracked a while now.

hmmm, that's weird. I never had it do something like that when I had it.. Any codes? Check all the vacuum lines and maybe try switching back to the stock intake if it persists... Dose anything make it better when it happens? Like bliping the gas or something?

IAC valve probably needs a cleaning.

and thats why i love this forum!
i had a high idle issue with my old jeep. but that was because of something in the cooling system was making it run hot. my subie does the same thing when its cold. it'll idle alittle high and float around the 2k mark until it starts to warm up. once its warm though there are no issues.
