Well, I made it. I saw the post from ClubSi. I own a dirty Impreza... most of the year. Hope to see this forum grow big.

Yeah, mine is usually pretty dirty, but I just took it in to the dealership for an oil change (I live in an apartment, not really any place to do it myself), and they washed it, so it's nice and clean right now. Oh, well, rainy season here in Oregon, it won't be clean for long.

By the way, how is it living in Vegas? I love visiting, been the 4 times, three with the wife (got married there at the Little White Wedding Chapel drive-thru :D ), and we've considered moving out that way. Any thoughts on what it's like when it's not vacation time? I love the heat, by the way, that's no issue for me.

If you love the heat, swing down here. Although... I'm not sure what type of business (job wise) you're in, because most of the jobs here revolve around casinos. I work in a casino right now and I'm going to school to get out of there asap. I just don't like the field of work I'm in. But, if you choose to come here, then good luck. BTW, the heat in the summer here SUCKS for our vehicles. As for winters, the coldest it's gotten here was like...low 20's. If you have anymore questions are anything, let me know.

nice to see ya on the fourms, i didnt think anyone from Csi was gonna make it. LOL

Vegas is pretty nice, theres lots of work out there too since so much of the city is expanding (at least it was enough for 2 of my old co-workers to move out there).

Ive been too many times to count to just go gamble and chill by the pool during summer months. So much fun. Ive even been out there in Jan / Feb... its pretty cold at night, and not too many of the pools are open during the day. rooms are much cheaper though.

oh and im always out for SEMA every year too. doing interviews, etc.

Well, I currently work at Intel, and have a degree in Electrical Engineering, and like to dink with computers. And those slot machines are all just computers, I had thought about becoming a slot machine repair man. Thousands of those things in each casino, and all those casinos, gotta be plenty of work. And my car is turbo now (AVO kit), so the heat would be even worse for me, but either an IC sprayer or water injection would probably help a lot with that.

409- Yeah, CSi has been my other other other home for quite a few years now...since I got my first Si. Anyway, next time you're in Vegas, let me know and we'll go get a drink or two...or ten.

honda- Well, I guess if you call places you'll probably have no problems finding a slot tech. but yeah, if you ever move out here, I'll give you the 411 on things. Been here for 18 years now, so I kinda know this place.

Yeah for sure... CSI has been my home away from home for a long time (even 3 years after I sold my Si) there's always lots of time killing threads in OT while I'm at work...

Anyway, the Si to STi was a rather natural progression. Lots of people do it, or get EVOs.
