Hello all,

I've posted my in-car video from this past weekend's rallycross. I managed to get some interesting shots, I especially like the inside-the-car views, they show I'm obviously driving the car way too much with the wheel, and that I REALLY need a quick rack  Unfortunately I didn't get my first run on tape, it would have been amusing for sure since I forgot to turn my centre diff on and had massive oversteer, nearly going in the weeds multiple times...

Enjoy! (please ignore that I mis-named them round 2, dumb...)

Great vids, the bumper cam (http://media.putfile.com/2007-Rallycross-Round2-Run7-67) is my favorite. Too bad we can't run rallycrosses like that here in the states... too many lawyers down here...

...so many lawyers, we should use them for cones!

I got lucky with the bumper one, the big wiggle at the beginning was two of the three suction cups deciding they weren't attached right and letting loose, only the one cup was holding well! Next time I'll make sure everything is a little more secure...

OMG that stop at the end of video #1 is so awesome. I seriously cant believe how very much like stage rally the competition is... going through the trees, etc. amazing.

thanks for posting up the vids!

It's funny, a lot of people don't like the pit course because it tears up so badly, ruts get deep and you feel like you're surfing on your skidplate after a run or two down there. In both of the videos of the pit, I think I was only the 5th or 6th driver to run, and it was graded between runs. The soil is so soft it tears really quick. This event we had only 12 cars, so it wasn't too bad, but last year we had a couple events with 35+ drivers, it gets kinda brutal then...

very nice driving, I must say. I wish they would hold rallycrosses on roads here. That seems like it is one co-driver short of being a stage rally. It does sound brutal in the pits

 <----- Jealous

Wow, your courses are sweet. How many events are in your area each year?
one co-driver short of being a stage rally +1

What safety equipment are you required to have for a course like that? Helmet and... oh yeah, balls! Whoo-hoo!

yeah lots of balls for those sections where the trees get narrow!
