My 5min fog light delete.... Opinions wanted!

I found an aluminum blank license plate in my garage today. It just so happened to be white! Well I was bored and did not feel like washing the car so I decided to try to make something to fill the big hole. It either this, or make them into air vents some how. Let me know what you think!

Maybe some stickers of some sort on them would make it look better.... I wonder if I can get the RallyPig stickers in there?!?!

I would have left the holes and got some ducting to cool your brakes ;) Or just get some STI covers ;)

Sti covers = money.... Its what I originally wanted though.

I kind of liked the black holes except being able to see all the crap in there.... hmmmmm

STi covers = money? no way, just come out to one of our local rallycross events... work the course and just pick a few up as they fly off other people's cars!

but yeah, i think it looks good for what it is... I kinda like the open look of the OEM fog inserts, in fact i almost got a set to swap out my STi covers because i thought it looked nice. Hookup some tubing and cool those brakes down.

I know racecomp engineering makes a kit. They say is for an 06 on their parts list, but ive seen guys with them on different models.

I am sure it costs an arm and a leg though... I will come up with something... I always do.

Basically you just need to figure out a way to mount some tubing to the back of the foglight housing / cover and route it toward the rotor... I dont think theres too much involved really.

One of my friends And BOTH had someone come yank ours off our car when we were in the mall one day... Last time I had epoxyied them into the bumper, but then I broke the bumper AGAIN... And I had to cut them out to put them in my new bumper, I grinded most the Epoxy off.. Hopefully noone steals these ones, as they are back to normal mounting.. but they are still covered with quite a bit of Epoxy...

I always wondered if anyone had lost thier foglight covers from someone stealing them. Thats effing lame. But at the same time kind of comedic. I can just imagine someone walking up to a suby, looking around and then getting down real quick and pulling off both foglight covers and shoving them in a big coat and running away only to jump into a moving van as he gets in saying "I got em I got the foglight covers". :lol: :lol:
