Here's my 02 Outback Sport Wagon that I picked up STPR weekend. It's my first Subaru but MUCH better than the Kia Sportage (aka pos) that I was driving. I have some plans to build the car and possibly rallyx it this coming year.

so far the car has the following:
~SPT catback exhaust
~AEM WRX intake (custom fitted)
~Rally Innovations skid guard with a pair of 500's
~Hella bulbs in the stock fogs
~factory 6 disc (car came with a cheapie cd deck)
~obligatory dirtyimpreza.com decals
~WRX wagon spoiler
~borla knock-off header

waiting to go on the car:
~JDM mid wing
~5spd swap (car is automatic and I HATE it)

near future:
~2 sets of Hella 500's for the light bar
~custom mid pipe with magnaflow highflow cat
~WRX wheels in bronze (strat's wheels that I'm stealing from him)
~koji'd headlights
~tow strap

future plans include:
~skid plate
~rear diff protector
~wrx hood
~lightened flywheel
~upgraded clutch
~short shifter
~group n mounts

Looks good... just wondering what are your plans for the auto trans once you take it out??? I MAY have a perfect home for it!!! Looks good though too, maybe a set of morettes are in order, ive never seen them on a obs before...

May be seeing you guys again this summer. I just recently got offered a job again up in Baltimore by the same company. Seems they want me back for the summer, haha.

rllyrckt... we'll probably sell the trans/diff/etc that we don't need once the car is swapped. not sure if we'll get morettes for the wagon too.

matt... that'd be great to have you back up in the northeast. maybe we'll get to run against each other at summit point. definetly have to get together for STPR if you do.

borla knock off header, a pair of hella 500's, and a rally america windshield banner will be going on the car in the next couple of days! Possibly my wrx wagon spoiler as well.

Um you're welcome for the large assistance with the install of the obligatory WRX wagon wing... :waving:

Spencer gets a total "Epic FAIL!" for wanting to install a wing and being ill-tool-prepared. :nono

And yes, I did actually say "Holy sh1t, my measurements were right and the wing does line up correctly. Kick ass!" :lol2:

The wing adds so much more attitude and gives off an feeling of like 30 more HP (at the wheels of course!) while sitting still. :muhaha:

jason... if Spencer wasn't such a computer hog, I'd be on here more often and you'd already have your thank you. you know i appreciate your help even if you boys hog all the work.

anyways, thanks! I love the wing. now we just need to get the midwing painted and put on! Next time, i'm gonna make Spencer sit on the side while we get it drilled and bolted up. :) it'll probably take less time. :p j/k

I was in an accident today. My wagon got hit in the front end. My light bar got pushed down and to the right and the hellas got smashed. My bumper needs replaced. So i am out a car right now. I took it to get an estimate and i have to call the insurance company to so i can go and get it in to get fixed.

This is what happened...
An old women, she was 86 and had a cane, she decided to plow a stop light and hit me as i was going thru the intersection. I am not happy.

Yeah!! My first question is WHO would let someone her age and condition drive a car!!! I propose a plan, when people hit a certain age they should have to re-apply for a license. I am thinking around 70 or 75. I think that this would reduce the amount of accidents.

I will have to get pictures up.

AMEN SISTER! I've been saying the EXACT same thing for many years after the accident I was in which took a life very close to me... :cry: I've seen my own 65 yr old father-in-law almost hit stuff because his eye site is poor, but he refuses to become a dependant on someone else driving him around.

If you can't pass the test, *GRAB* there goes your license!

the good news is that there were two witnesses that saw the accident and the police ruled that it was the other ladies fault so the car should get fixed for nothing.

only bad part is the light bar was a prototype (from what my buddy's telling me) so we may have a hard time getting that replaced.

as far as the old age, yeah it tends to happen often but it happens even more with teenagers up to 25 years old (according to traffic school:roll:) so if that was the case, we should do the same for kids 8), get tested every year. after 75 and until you turn 21 lol

in all fairness though... accidents caused by youth are generally stupidity and inexperience whereas old age can be senility and poor reflexes.

For now i am driving a rental. A 2007 Hyndai Sonata. Its roomy, its better than the mini van that they were going to give me. Next week my car is supposed to go in for repair. Hopefully the other wagon we picked up will be ready this week.

I am hoping that it gets into the shop either this week or next. The skid guard that will be replacing my light bar is going to look sweet!!
