I ended up switching from SA to PA for the new GC rallyx car since my stock rear suspension bit the dust. So far I've got the AGX's and Group-N tophats on my list. I'd like to do STi take off springs (the 224/195 rate ones) but I'm not sure what is needed to make these fit or where to get them. Any help would be appreciated!

For my GD I have the AGX's with Group n top hats and Tein Dirt trial Master springs. I had the same question for Paul at Primitive and he hooked me up with a pretty good deal on everything and even put them together for me.

So I pieced together a comparison chart. Which option looks best to you for Rallyx/DD?
Option 1:
KYB AGX with Tein G Tech Gravel Springs (229/190) and Group-N tophats (No Drop)
Cost: $1,000
Option 2:
KYB AGX with GC 10" coilover conversion (225/200) and Group-N tophats (Adjustable from No Drop to 1.5 inchs lift)
Cost: $1,110
Option 3:
KYB AGX with USDM STi take off springs (224/195) and Group-N fronts Legacy Rears (.5" lift)
Cost: $810
D-Specs can be substituted for AGX for a more adjustable, better damped strut at an extra cost of $110
Costs:
KYB AGX $430 for all 4 From CVRMotorsports
Tokico D-Spec $540 for all 4 From TiC
Tein G Tech $290 for all 4 From Primitive Racing
GC Coilover $400 for all 4 From Ground Control
USDM Take Offs $100 for all 4 From Anywhere
Group N tophats $280 for all 4 From Primitive Racing

They all look like good options. One thing you have to keep in mind is classing for rallyx. For Stock you have to use the stock spring with either stock or replacements struts, for Prepared, you can use any strut/spring combo (option 1 & 3), and for modified you can use anything (option 2). Thats why I had to get the AGX's so I could move down from Mod to Prep. Most people feel that the stock ride height is just right for rallyx and you really only need to get a lift if you want more ground clearance.

If your going to run STI takeoffs you need to get the 04+ rear tophats and the TiC strut spacers (http://www.turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_9_10_44_53&products_id=234) then you will be set. You only need these if your going to use struts for any Impreza '93-'03

I thought you couldn't use the 04 and up style rear top hats due to the bolt circle being different in the back...

Good point! I didn't know about the PA rule of strut/spring combo vs. adjustable. Guess that solves that issue:D
