Does anyone think a paranoid fabrications grounding kit would be worth it? I've heard mixed reviews on these kits in general. I guess at worst, it wouldn't hurt anything.

Well if you get the "basic" or whatever its called it like 25 bucks. But yeah, I don't know if it would be worth it.

IMO, with some research you could throw together a grounding kit as a DIY project. That way it may be even cheaper.

Grounding kits don't to anything. I had one once. If anything it adds more weight because those 8ga cables are pretty heavy. Waste of money IMO.

I've been hearing this more than how great they are. I'll save up for some team dynamics wheels instead.

This all comes down to what you want out of your car. If you want high quality sound, then go for the grounding kit. Keep in mind though if you want sound then you should probably invest quite a bit in speakers and amps too. At this point a grounding kit will help. Other than that you're normally just better off without it.

Yeah, I'm more of the feeling that extra speakers and amps and stuff just add weight. I actually took the subs and stuff out of my last car to get a bit more speed. (it was a civic and needed all the help it could get, haha) The stock stereo sounds fine to me.

I would not call it a waste of time and money. Personally, I would not buy a kit. I decided to build my own from scratch so I could route it the way I wanted. You might not notice a thing with it installed, then again you might. It did seem that with the kit my car started and idled better, but it could all be in my head. I did the mod for the idea that EVERYTHING is getting a GOOD ground. I would especially recommend this for older cars where your grounds might start getting bad. You would be surprised what a headache a poor ground can cause. Especially for all you dirt crazed fools out there with dirty engine bays.

Necessary? No.

Would I recommend? Yes.

In the end it will absolute, positively NOT HURT! (Unless you are a moron and wire it wrong!)
