moving the maf sensor

so im pretty sure everyone knows about the perrin blow threw maf pipe. no... okay well it moves the maf sensor on the intake going to the turbo and places after the output of the compressor wheel. this makes for better tunning. my question is what if i moved the maf to right before the throttle plate. this will give me a more steady maf reading because it eliminates the intercooler pressure drop and get rid of the need to recirculate because the blow off valve wont be letting out metered air. of coarse this means running a front mount but i was planning on that anyway. hit me up with some feedback because in theory this sounds like it should work with a ecu_tek reflash or a full standalone. but i could be wrong... anyway hit me up with some ideas of wheather this will work or not

its been done but the blow threw pipe if only for the perrin kit which just means i get to fab up my own setup. and yes it will work just make sure the pipe you stick the maf into is the same diameter as the own you pulled it out off put once that patent expires you better belive i going to be make maf relocation kits and selling them online. and because of this as off last night i began tinkering with my topmount trying to find a way to do a maf relocation on a top mount.

Relocating the MAF will require a tune. Heck, doing anything to the MAF (such as isntalling an intake) will throw the scaling off and require a tune.
