So I've been trying to connect to nasioc.com for the last three days with zero success. Times out on every attempt. I'm writing this on a MacBook Pro running Firefox, and I've tried it on the Windows side of the machine with both IE and Firefox.
I've heard that nasioc can be a good resource, but I wouldn't know b/c I haven't even loaded their home page yet!
Am I doing something wrong, or is anyone else having the same problem?[/i]

NASIOC is alive an kicking.
Copy and paste this into your browser:
http://64.135.19.21
If it goes directly to http://forums.nasioc.com/ but you cant reach it by typing in "nasioc.com" then your computer is having some sort of DNS issue.
hey wait, why am i troubleshooting an issue getting user to a "rival" subaru website? oh yeah because were cool here.

i've found NASIOC to be extremely annoying lately...not the site, but the users. i've come to the conclusion that NASIOC's only redeeming feature is that there is a wealth of information available on it in regards to service/repairs...hmm...maybe there should be a service/repairs forum on DI....

No seriously, its a clown snow. There is little useful information on there anymore. I only go on NASIOC for the classifieds. IWSTI.com still has decent technical information. But Nastycock is all about people just talking ****.

Seems like people forget to take it to the OT for ther ****-talking needs. Oh well. I still find a lot of useful info through searches.

the only thing I've found in searches is people asking the same question I have and not getting any answers. Very rarely do searches actually turn up the info people say it will.
A service/repairs forum would fit in well for an off-roading forums :)

Wouldn't any/all issues like that in this forum would be under 'GD Impreza Chassis'? I guess you could have sub-forums. People just need to be good about not making 15 threads for the same topic.
There are about 500 different threads all spread out (some good, some bad) over at cobb forums on BOV's, CAI's, etc. People just start new threads and don't bump old threads.

Just so we're all clear, I was looking to see what was over at NAISOC strictly because of Google. I googled "2007 WRX Impreza maintenance schedule", and the first link that looked non-dubious was at the NAISOC domain.
Wasn't trying to comment on the completeness of this site :)
Thanks, all for the advice, though!

not offended about your post referring to another forum...just throwin' my 2 cents in about the site. and i THINK that's what everybody else did. like i said, i still use it as a source of info and i have made good use of the classified section of the site on many occasions like 409 said.
