Hi there - figured I'd register on a forum or two, seeing as I'm taking delivery of an '07 WRX wagon in a couple of weeks (after my wedding and honeymoon). I'm leasing, so I'll be looking for info on VERY non-intrusive mods (think ECU upgrades/flashes that can be re-flashed back to stock, etc) that wouldn't affect.

Also would like some advice on window tinting, too :)

Welcome to the forums james! congrats on the soon to be delivery... oh and the wedding too! hahaha :)

Sounds like a good plan as far as non-invasive mods. A Cobb Accessport would probably be your best bet to get some improved performance and be able to go back to stock easily.

Dont know what the tint laws are out in Maine, but im pretty sure California (where i live) has the harsest penalties / most enforcement.. course that doesnt stop me, i have full limo tint on all windows + a WRC style windshield tint banner...

Welcome to the boards!
Non-intrusive... mmm... Mudflaps are a good precautionary item :D
I will second the AP notion. Ease of reflash and reflash again.

haha - haven't "scored" yet...gotta wait until I get past the wedding in TEN DAYS , then another ten days for cruise and related travel.

THEN I shall have a waggin. Looking at an AP and RallyArmor flaps & skid plate, but also curious about the Fumoto valve mod. From what I read over at rallyarmor.com, the plate and valve are mutually exclusive.

Anyone care to refute the claim? I'm interested in the valve without the nipple, in case that makes a case one way or another.
