Hey guys,
We didn't really rep DI at prescott much, but both of us to troll the site regularly. We know Burke and a few of the other DI guys from rallyx. Next rally I promise to make Alex put some DI stickers on the car.
day1:
24 30 Alex Rademacher / John Stewart Impreza 51:08 6 Perf Stk
day2:
22 30 Alex Rademacher / John Stewart Impreza 1:08:56 5 Perf Stk
The car is a 93 imp fwd 1.8, only mods have been for safety/reliablity so far. This was my first rally (codriver) and was the second for Alex (He did the reno rally 08 ).
As for how the rally went, the night stages were epic. The off's/cliffs on stages 4/5/6/8 had a pucker factor of like 15 on a scale of 1-10. Oh and the intercom shorted out before the start of the first stage.. good times.
We probably could have placed a little better but we pulled the #19 car out of a berm on stage 3. Had one close call on the second day, went off on a OC R6 after a long straight (downforce what). Missed a tree by maybe 1 inch, if that, and Alex got us back on. He was WOT and never lifted, that probably saved us lol. Ohh and we umm, refitted the exaust and skidplate a few times (!! dip 50 !! dip, BAAAAAMMM).
Anywho just thought I'd post, we should have stages 2/3/7/8 on video.. But no intercom so you can hardly hear me over the exaust leak lol. I'll link those on this post when they are uploaded.
