Hello, My name is John.

I started off with an 06 STi and im on my way to getting pretty serious with auto-xing in it. Which really turned me on to the idea of rally-x.

So I ended up getting a 1999 2.5rs Coupe in AW :) I recently auto-x'ed it, to get aquainted with the car and found some maint. related problems that im working on to get it running reliably. After which I plan to get into rally-x wherever i can :D

Looks like a great site, been doing a lot of reading and hope to join the ranks of a dirty impreza driver soon!!

It only took me one RallyX (I did that before I ever AutoX'ed) to be totally hooked to the loose stuff (not what you are thinking).

I love to get my Impreza Dirty!!!

John, welcome to the forums. were happy to have you here! I was pretty into autox for a while (joined the all subaru Autox team "Team Blew" out here in california) etc. Its great fun running the STi.

Im on the same program as you too, getting a 00 RS as soon as i can find one, thats going to be the full time rallyx / rally machine. Then maybe ill track the STi. shes sad from all the offroad abuse!

Im currently a Team Blew Member myself #470, going to be running CSM with the STi and DSP with the RS when i start doing champ events.

Unfortunately the STi is currently setup with coilovers and large sways front and rear for autoX and i dont believe it being 2in off the ground would fare well in the dirt :)

Nice! well if youre on Team Blew then of course youre familiar with Fontana! i was #205 for about a season or so.

(The STi before it was "converted" for rallycross) I think it will be a blast to get some nice street coilovers and go back to the tarmac for some fun!

Leave the offroading for the paid off car... ;)

haha yea, very familar with fontana :) i think theyve changed lots since youve run.. were in the green lot now.

im going down to el toro tomorrow :) co-driving a friends wrx wagon since the rs isnt ready :( it will still be fun!

also night of the living dead is coming up aug 4th, definitely going to have a car ready for that!! wouldnt miss it for the world. this year i believe its team blew hosted too.
