We rear ended another gti that was in the middle of the road after a double crest L4 that had no triangles, no lights no flashers. Manage to finish the stage after we stopped. Corrected the camber for saturday but wasnt enough, bent the tie rod even more when went off after not being able to shift.

Those guys you hit are kinda nuts, they kept ripping in and out of service which dosen't leave a solid impression on the locals.
Tought break on the off, Did your vw look like it ate a tree with bits of branches hanging from the grill? If so I have a photo from service.

I believe that was Mark Lawrence's GTI. Ours had major toe and camber issues with passenger side fender and bumper out of whack. We actually were able to continue the following day until i couldnt get into gear (problem started after impact the night before but was corrected) and had an off hitting a rock. We ended up bending the tie rod even more where it was rubbing and totally out of whack!
Yeah, the red gti was pretty much ripping it out of everything! They seemed to be very impatient at RWV (Jumped every start we worked by atleast 4 seconds). They seemed pretty fast there but I would say Black river was not a place to attack like they did and is not as forgiving. No room for error. If you went off there was a tree or rock you couldnt avoid.
They were off or spun out every stage, and we caught them about a mile and a half to go the stage before we rear ended them. We are just glad we didnt hurt anyone including ourselves.
