Hey everybody. I've been slinking around the last few days absorbing everything I can. My daily driver (and only driver  for now..) is Scarlet, an '04 OBS. I've wanted a Subaru since I was 15 and finally have one (14 years later). I can't drive this car enough, and I'm itching to get her dirty. My husband has a Wrangler and we caravan around the back roads in our area looking for dirt. I haven't done too terribly much to her yet. A few stickers, an AEM cold air intake, tires, car seat for my son ( who at 2, already asks to "race in mama's subie"(and just for clarification, "racing" with Quinn and racing alone are two totally separate matters!)), and wiper blades.. I'm excited about the community here, and hope to become an active member in this forum and the rally world. I'm located in Lancaster, PA and hopefully, I'll see some of you out and about! I need to upload some pics, and I'll post as I get them uploaded.

Scarlet! Awesome that you decided to officially sign up! This is the spot for you for sure. I think that everyone on here is always looking for some cool dirt back roads to play on.
Love the color of the wagon! Hope to see more from you in the future about the progression of the subie! Have you considered trying some rallycross?

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've definitely considered rallycross. There's a "local" club that has events biweekly. I'm hoping to attend one in the next month. I'm a little hesitant to enter this car. I'm still paying on her, and would hate to really beat her up. I just ran across a Legacy sedan today at a junk yard for $500.00 (she runs - needs some bodywork, and perhaps a driver side airbag (need to check local laws, this one was deployed) but I'm not afraid of that. 100,070 miles...) I was hoping for an Impreza, but this is much closer to the budget....) I'm seriously considering picking her up for the rallycross. I'm torn. I love Scarlet and want to race her, but I'd hate to have her out of commission and still making monthly payments... Whether I get the Legacy or not, I have an itch that needs to be scratched, and if it's Scarlet out there running the rallys, well, I'll just have to find a way to support my habit!

everyone's ideal setup is a daily driver (with or without payments) and a dedicated rally car to beat on every weekend...

Thanks for the welcome. I'm hoping to attend a rallyx in August. I'm excited and nervous as hell! I have to admit that all credit is due my husband on the placement of the decals. When he showed it to me, well, it was the right place! 8)
