what do i get when i donate?

i'm considering donating to DI. I feel that i enjoy this site and would like to see someone have to throw less from their pockets. My thinking/question is, when i donate on other sites i get titles, extras. Is this the same with DI?

i am a premium member on rs25 and with that i get a pink name ( always good) i get a special forum for rs25 premium members(amazing) and i get a avatar ( i already have one here so thats not a big deal) I was just curious if DI had the same. Just for reference it costs 20 bucks a year to be a premium member.

you're missing the point, im saying i'd be willing to donate with greater confidence simply by having aaron activate a sub-forum for premium users only, and change some other things for premium users. It's not a huge task, but it would definitely lubricate the transfer of money from my pockets to dirtyimpreza.com

This is something ive had on the drawing board for quite a while. You may have even noticed that there is now a "donate" function on the forums navbar. This is some software that i loaded just last night, but still need to completly customize.

There have been donation links all over the website for quite some time, but people rarely do donate (thank you I Like It Sideways!!!) and part of that might just be because there isn't any real kickback. I'm thinking a donating member title, along with access to some other more "premium" areas would be an incentive to help out.. on top of the satisfaction of keeping our community alive! :)

Its actually interesting that you should bring up RS25.com, as a good friend of mine is the "new" owner of the site. He's given me the rundown about premium memberships and all that good stuff. Theres quite a bit of work to get all of that setup, but once its going the benefits to DI would be very positive.

Rest assured, this will not get put on the back burner... but time is really tight these days... Thanks for all the valuable feedback.

EDIT: and yes there will be donating member titles.

I cant remember the forum, but there was one that would have something like military tags added under your user name whenever you donated. So some people who had donated $100 like 4 times would have 4 purple heart looking things under their name.

Anyways, I will be donating. Unfortunately my WRX is going to Subaru tomorrow for major suspension issues. Once I pay for all of that, whatever it may be, I will be donating.
