leggy struts on impreza?

I have a 93 impreza wagon awd POS that is in need of struts. I want to go to the salvage yard to get some strut assemblies out of a legacy, what years fit, upper strut mount wise, I know the bottom will work but unsure about the tops.
I was looking at a 97 awd leggy wagon struts.

height wise or bolt patterns? for some reason I'm thinking front legos will not fit impreza but I think the rear should be okay tophat (at least 91 turbo lego). I guess when you go to the "auto recycler" then you will find out since you will overlay the bolt patterns over the donor's. let us know what you find. I would think similar years would be best.

dont do it if it in the wrecking yard Why? how many miles are on that car. It proably has worn out struts as well. Kyb offers the gr-2 gas struts and you can get them for about 80 dollars each or get or ask for 89 out back or out back sport struts with your springs and tops. you dont have to do all four at once do just the rear those are usually the worst then do the front when you have a bit more money.
