Let me start by saying I'm still very, very tired. The last 5 weeks have been the hardest I've ever worked but myself and Keith had a schedule and we made it. I pretty much ignored the internet, friends, family and left the bills to my very understanding girlfriend. My daughter thought I moved into the shop .

Keith has most of the build pics and all of the Awesome DI members that helped us out this weekend have many, many event photos. I'm sure they will start poping up within the next few days. Jon also has some sweet incar that will be up soon. The event was insane, and for first timers Keith and Jon I think they paired up very well and did an awesome job. I know they both had smiles ear to ear at every service.

I would love to write more but I'm going to get some rest and leave this thread to all who would like to contribute their experience and photos. The weekend ended very well with the DIRT Team making podium in 3rd place.... Congrats Keith and Jon!!

I have a few pics and vids but here are the two most important ones - both cars crossing the finish line:

awesome event! awesome pics! awesome friggin weekend!

As my brother stated "Zero to Gorman in 5 Weeks" is no joke. That was the most trying 5 weeks ever! I can't thank him enough for everything he has done to make this happen for me and JacksonRally. He has sacrificed more than can be asked for to make this happen. Thank you very much! You rock! Also, cant forget to thank Marra for keepin cool during this time and for all the home cooked meals too! You are awesome! Now, we can go play in the DIRT again!

Also, I would like to thank everyone who help out in anyway shape or form. Scott G @ PlaCar with his WRC / RA expertise, he kept an eye out and offered his tips and tricks to help build a proper rally car, Thank you! OP is awesome, one bad-ass master Subaru mechanic who help out numerous times during the build. Aaron, thank you for patience during our build and thanks for the Soltek Lighting system too, they worked out perfect! Greg over at Millenium Motorsports was crucial to this build as well, he help out with any and all machining work we need to get the job done, thanks for your help! Hope you liked the real estate!

That does not sum up everyone who helped, so I must say thanks to everyone who helped out on this build to make this happen, you guys all rock!

We had a bitchen first event and looking forward to many more!

Congratulations guys. I know the effort it takes to get prepared like you did and the costs involved in getting to your first event. Great job on the result and it sounds like you had fun. Glad to see both cars and crews finish in one piece.

Nice one.
