Saw this while browsing for other things... Too cool. Waaayyyy overpriced, but still very cool. It's starting to get into the low 100's where I work, and I have an aversion to AC for some reason...

Ok. Thats really cool. I have wanted one for my girl for a while so I can find where to get one now. Question though, How do you get 2 vents? One Driver, one Co-Driver.

I'm not sure if you can mount two of them side by side or not. You can see in the picture below how the mounting bracket attaches. If the mounting holes on either side are the same distance apart (or if you go even further along the modification route) then it should be doable. Keep in mind you'd have to make up a custom headliner attachment, as the one supplied only works in the center. You can buy just the mounting bracket and vent though (sans the headliner cover).

Well, scoobymods doesn't appear to like linking...

If any of you guys go ahead with the vent, and want to do the scoop as well, let me know. I would be up for making a mold and pulling some parts. I think it would be really cool to have a custom roof scoop of the desired shape as apposed to paying close to 500 for the JDM version

BlueRu, if you find some pictures of the twin vents, post em up! Would be cool to see what that looks like.

Well, if you start to get queasy as you begin to fork over the cash for the JDM scoop, keep me in mind  I happen to be pretty damn good at composites.

I have wanted one of these since I got my car. But I have other things I need to do first.

Not sure if I would cut into the roof like that.. but I like that there is a step by step for it.

turns out that most people dont do this mod to RS's because of the sunroof. I think i might try anyway, since the sunroof will be fused shut. no scoop for the time being...

I'm thinking of putting a custom through the sunroof with a spliter to go to both sides. The thought being that if you want to open your sunroof for air, you need to have a fixed net between outside and you, and I just seems like too much work.

if you did 2....one over the driver/co-driver, could you then keep your map light mounted in there too? I like those lights there....

also, why do half the pics in that nasioc thread have a grey interior, the other half have a tan/off white interior?

I'm thinking that if you are willing to do all that work to mount the vent, doing a bit more work to fit the map light into the plastic cover provided would be easy.
