no those snow pics are old i put those on here a while ago. and your wrong 98obster, i wasnt stuck there. there were some a$$holes comin down in their trucks and we were getting out of the way. you should have seen the look on their faces when i just stuck it into the side of the road like that. they all came down and offered to pull me out and i politely declined, when they all went by i just backed right out.
she was upset cause she had a difficult time getting out of the car since the snow was so high and she soaked her shoes.
now i did actually get stuck and have to be pulled out though.

i was tailing the tan colored wagon a little too close and he lost speed due to some deep ruts and i had to slam on the brakes to keep from hitting him, when i stopped i high centered and he had to give me a little tug to get me off. we spent 2 hours getting him out of the ditch he got stuck on so i still feel like i won that one. (we ended up hooking the strap to the front if your wondering how the tan one pulled me forward from the rear)

anybody feel like a good laugh?? i just pinned my car into a dirt wall goin like 30 mph. cant believe my lightbar/tube bumper held up. after i cleaned off all the dirt all i managed to do was knock a plastic clip out that holds on one side of the bumper and knock loose the bar i put on the bottom of the tube bumper to stabalize it and keep it from shifting back and forth. oh yea and my licence plate got pretty good and mangled. all in all i really just dinged my ego a little. nothing permanent.

ive been without internet for the last week and a half. i moved out into the boonies and comcast was being dumb about hookin it up. anyways......

somebody took out my light bar in the fred meyer parking lot when it snowed. i think that original dirt wall wreck weakened the welds and then somebody hit it and broke it mostly off. the good thing was i designed it to be easily removable if i felt like taking it off so it only took 5 min of wrenching to get it off in the parking lot. kinda lame but.... thats the 2nd time that ugly light bar saved the front of my car. i dont think i'll put it back on though.

I think i'll go for something a little more subtle like just a small bar you cant really see that will hold the lights. i don't know, we'll see.

We can't all afford STi's.
The hub, backing plate, brake caliper? Check the car in my avatar or sig. Everything I own would fit in a 15" wheel:p.

LOL. Every once in a while I think to myself, "I should've just kept my GL wagon and used it for RallyX"

But I've wanted an STI since before I knew anything about cars. I may have to put some money into the brakes so I can clear 15"s but pretty much everything else attached to the car is pretty darn stout and has taken a hell of a beating so far. I don't know if an older car would still be driving after the abuse I put my car through.

Wow I just looked at over a years worth of awesome pictures in 20 minutes! So you're location says Tacoma, but you also said you just moved to "the boonies". Please explain (I live in Olympia BTW), I'd like to know where these roads are at.

Oh and beatersubi, I love your location: "Tacompton" lol

Five WRXs suffered broken radiators at No Alibi this year. None of the three BC/BJ Legacys, including mine, had any problem.
I'm not saying an STi isn't a good car, especially one that is setup for rally, I'm just not a subscriber to the 'newer is automatically better' philosophy.

Tacompton baosts the highest crime rate in the state: you have to be tough to survive here:roll:.

All over really. I try to keep them semi-secret since dodging cars at high speed on gravel roads along cliffs is kinda scary. But my old favorite place has gotten really popular lately anyways. It used to be if i went there during the week Id never see another car unless it was deer hunting season, these days even early in the morning there are cars everywhere.

But I found a new place I think, I havent gotten a chance to explore it yet since Im waiting to get my car back together but Ill let you guys know if it turns out to be as cool as it looks like it will be.
We should all get together some sunday and go for a drive up in the mountains after I get my car back together.

Silly argument... as soon as I've stuck my car back together we should go for a drive since your so close. Most guys in our "newer, better" cars don't much care for off roading their cars.

I got the swap done awhile ago, Ive just been slacking on posting pics. Went and did a rallyX with the new tires. I think I was a little overconfident in them the first couple runs. I was all over the place. but by the last run I was right there with the fastest guys. Heres a couple pics and a cruddy in car video.

No pics (camera finally died) but if anybody is payin attention I yanked my turbo out today. Got another with low miles for a good deal. Putting it on with a Tial EWG and an ultimate driving up pipe. Prodrive BCS in now as well. Also getting it tuned probably at PIA since its walking distance away from me. Should make it a little funner to drive.

Haven't gotten it dirty in awhile so Im looking forward to the upcoming rallyX season. New camera coming soon so many pics to follow.

Well I didnt make it to a single RallyX this year. :-x The wife was pregnant and not up for the long drive for the first few. Not to mention a wheel blew up into my right hand making it difficult to shift for months. After that we had a baby girl and shes basically taking up all my time now. Ive been forcing her to watch Rally videos in the hopes she'll want to drive with me when she gets a little older. Hopefully I make it to more races next year. I will for sure be enjoying the snow in the mountains this year so you'll see some pics of that.

I did get the new turbo (VF43 nothing crazy), EWG and BCS in and the car was tuned by PIA. Put down about 300 hp and 300 tq to the wheels. Not bad for a car with 70000 miles on her and nothing really done but exhaust work.

Figured if anybody was paying attention Id let you know Im still out here.
