also posted on Anarchy for help in my time of need....haha
Hi guys, what alignment are you using for your Subarus?
I would do an exhaustive search on all the forums and just make some calls but I have a huge project at work and don't have the time...alignment appointment is in the morning. What I have found is maxing out negative camber in the front and dialing 1-2 toe in (F) and 1 degree of toe in for the rear. Just what I have found so far.
I have a WRX with TEIN HG Gravel suspension and everything else is stock. Ride height looks about standard for a WRX.
Thanks so much in advance.

if you don't have aftermarket camber plates or camber bolts......wait, I know your rears DO have camber bolts.....
I'd just max out the front (around -2) and see what you can do with the rears (-2 as well).
the thing that's goofy with camber is after you set it, you have to adjust your toe as well. I say ZERO toe all around, but you might get differing opinions since its a race application on dirt.
slight toe OUT on the rear is supposed to help with turn-in, but it also makes your rear end a bit more squirrelly.

Your numbers sound about right...I had toe out on the rear for rally TN and the car turned in like a rocket on tarmac. I'm toeing it in for gravel though.
I used larger neg camber than -2 for tarmac and if you were to raise the ride height you lose some of that angle obviously.
Unless the stages are really rough I keep the ride height pretty much stock for better handling.

-2 sounds great if you can get that out of the front. Rear will probably just max out camber. I run zero toe in the front and -1 to 2 in the rear (esp. gravel). Good luck Tommy Gun!!

How about:
max negative camber in front
max negative camber in rear
1 degree toe-in front
1 degree toe-in rear
(Toe is zeroed out F&R stock, right?)

Sounds good, I typically keep toe at zero in front but all you can do is try and drive to see how you like what. Keep an eye out for cv angles with alot of neg camber.
I know this is an old thread, but here are some numbers for WRC GroupN cars from '03-'05.

that's a pretty sweet find.
that's a pretty sweet find.
If you look at Deutschland in '04 (which is a tarmac event) you see they are running a TON of negative camber.
All the gravel events are much lower... (like -1.5 front and a little less in the rear).
