Yes, they are 205-55-R16's. STOCK SIZE RALLY TIRES!!!! Paul over at TeamIlluminata.com hooked me up with them. He brought 5 over from the UK to see what kind of interest there was in them. I jumped all over the chance to get them! I must say there IS a demand for them, but since the american dollar is so low at the moment, its not worth it to bring them over. These tires kick so much ass though its not even funny! They blow my blizzaks out of the water. I can charge harder, and brake later.
Paul also sells Team Dynamic's rims, used rally tires, Primitive Skids, RallyArmor flaps... A bunch of cool things. Cool guy too! He is sponsering the 2007 Detroit Region SCCA RallyCross's which I am a part of.

This place is pretty cool so far! I was reading up on left foot braking lastnight on here.... Something I have wanted to start trying, but scared to try it and mess up a run. And all of the WRC and RallyAmerica updates... sweet!

left foot braking is nothing to be scared of. I actually practice in my automatic on the way to work. Once you get control of your left foot by not mashing it full on everytime, its very useful. In the suby its a combination of gas and LFB that gets the back end around when i need it. I'm definitely not an expert at it, i need more practice but it can be extremely useful.
... plus its nice to keep that turbo spooled! :)

Ya like that?
I think i am going to start toying around with left foot braking around town... I need to do something to beat the guys I race.. They are pretty damn good! The guys that beat me though have YEARS of experience. I just started doing this last October. One thing for sure is, I am not all that smooth of a driver. Its just not my style. I like to get the ass end out there and kick **** up. I like when people tell you that they enjoy watching you out there. When I watch the FTD, it was smooth and fast... but boring to watch.

Do like I do. Find an empty parking lot and work on it there. I have been working on it for about 2 weeks and havent had anyone say anything about it yet. Just make sure you are away from buildings and cars.....including light poles. Anyway it might be better to find a large open patch of dirt. It seems that the girl doesnt like to slide on pavement.

Yeah large patch of dirt around here does not exist.... Ill tinker with it.

yeah... left foot braking on tarmac is very different than on the dirt. For dirt I find that i have to pump the brake pedal a bit to get the back end out when i need it. Its tricky to describe, and also im not the best at it either.

..I think its time to start making another light bar.. I am getting bored with mine. Id like to make it simple enough to where I can make a few and sell some for dirt cheap. hmmm... I got some ideas rolling around..

what are your feelings on the amber fogs? i've got driving beams on my car now, but they're not as useful as i thought they'd be for me so i'm switchin' to fog pattern 500's but the idea of goin' with amber popped into my head yesterday. thoughts?
fattie92

Did you see the picture of the 500's that I posted? They put out A WHOLE "HELLA" LOTTA LIGHT! I got the amber because around here we tend to get a lot of snow, rain, and fog. They are supposed to be a better light in crappy conditions due to less glare.... So they say... I can not say that they worked much better, if any in a snow storm then normal headlights. I personally LOVE the amber. The light out put of these is freaking awesome, you can drive just on these bad boys... You will not be disappointed! My personal opinion on fogs is... If you are going to get fogs, get AMBER.
I ordered all of my lights from the experts at http://www.rallylights.com/hella/500.asp
On a side note, I asked about upgrading to 100w bulbs in the 500's and they told me it was a bad idea. They housing is to shallow and they tend to overheat and crack when ON and sitting still. I have talked to others though that said they just turn them off when coming to a stop to prevent them from cracking.

dude your car is truly badass. that light bar is rugged. might not be as pretty as some of the stuff mass produced but you made it on your own so that's way more hardcore.

Haha, thanks! That light bar no longer exists. I have upgraded my design to something a lot more compact and easier to install.

Too bad - was going to see if you'd let it go to another rex wagon'er (provided it would fit an '07).
