looking for a impreza wagon mostly for to and from work + some fun whenever the opportunity shows itself.if i buy a turbo there will be NO tuning that will leave any kind of turbo lag whatsoever, i am an impatient man and i dont care how much power there is, i am not willing to wait for it.bugyeys suck weird stuff.

financial situation will allow me go have:
impreza GT up to -01
impreza 2,5 ~04

discus your answers

bottom line... you can make decent numbers n/a but you WILL NOT get the same kind of power out of an n/a subaru.

it's really up to you... depending on what you use the car for should play a big part in your choice.

personally, i like boost...

I used to LOVE boost....BUTTTT considering gas is $4.00+ a gal and rising I chose N/A...It is better for DD and rallyX in the sense that it will teach you to carry your momentum through corners more...just my .02 cents.....BUT REMEMBER, its your car, your money, and your final decision...do what you want..

Yeah I was gonna say the same thing. Turbo = fuel consumption, and I'm guessing the fuel prices in Sweden are worse than here.

Plus you're an impatient man who doesn't like to wait for boost and you already have a turbocharged Volvo. For the amount you'd save on the purchase price and gas, you could have a pretty swift 2.5.

I say find a nice low miles non-riced 2001 2.5RS (or Swedish equivalent) - the last of the GCs.

turboz are fun but, gas is expensive and if it's a DD, you don't need massive amounts of HP

turbos are fun but n/a cars seem to do better in rallycross if your into that kind of thing.

i wanted a wrex but they are so expensive and with rising gas premium is a bitch thats kinda what helped me decide to buy a 97 obs just for cheaper gas and cheaper price tag

I just like having lots of coffee and going java java java boost.

I say go for the turbo. You can make more power and can always tune it for torque also.
