So i made the decision that Project L is going to be a tarmac only car so that meant i needed to find something for dirt and ice racing. Welcome Project RS.

I believe i'm going to keep this n/a for awhile so i can keep it more reliable because i dont want it to be breaking all the time when we are 5 hours away from home out in the woods some where. The engine and tranny will need to be changed out because they are on the fritz.

The car came with lowering springs, some black w/ chrome lip rims, injen cai, and ricer tail lights. So far i have replaced the lowering springs/rs struts with oem wrx stuff which ended up jacking the car up a good 2 inches lol. I also put on some non ricer'ish rims.

We are excited to now have Deltacam on board as an official sponsor of the car!! We now have a set of fully built heads from Deltacam. I havent had a chance to play with them yet, been sitting in the box..more info to come on this though. I will say the guys over at deltacam have been awesome to work with!

It's looking good. I know how antsy one can get waiting to install stuff once you get the goodies in that you end up working till 2am. The crappy header fitment sucks, good luck in getting a refund.

since you may be short on time, not want to deal with a refund from the seller and will be wrapping the headers any ways, just break out the oxy/act torches & "move" the header were you want it.

OMG hot! Why not PnP some stock headers for the RS? Do you guys even offer this for NA motors?

It's something we COULD do but with the stock RS design being so poor it really isn't worth it. Besides the horrible 180* bend at the collecter the exhaust ports can't be gasket matched becuase we would cut through the welds:nono All in all they are a far cry from the quality of the turbo manifolds.

finally was able to do something i have been wanting to do for awhile..put a thermo-tec blanket over the top of the block to keep the radiant heat out of the intake manifold. this in conjuction with our Phenolic Spacers and our Thermal Coating will keep the intake manifold very COOL!!

updates. car is up and running now. didnt know that the valve lash wasnt adjusted so the valve tick was really loud. adjusted them to correct specs and its definitely quieter but still loud.

one of the best cheap/free mod ever has been completed...welded rear diff. i cant believe how much of a difference it makes...it is REALLY fun to let loose in the snow. i really wish i would have welded my diffs years ago cause its a blast. thanks again fuji!!

not to bad...you dont have to take it completely off. you can just lift it up slightly and slip them in.
