The WORST mods

I know that there alot of "Whats the BEST mods" for Rallying.I was wondering what some of the worst mods would be. even the ones that are a waste of money could be included.

The reason I am asking is because I have a stock 04 STI and lookn to sling some mud :D or sand....not picky.
Im looking for upgrades.As some of us are aware somethings arent actually upgrades put really just hurt performance.

expensive and itll be ripped off at the first rut. Unless you're Petter Solberg, you probably wont be needing any front lip kits.

Other things that come to mind would suspension setups that slam your car...

I would steer clear from BOVs....unless you are running very high boost, your stocker is perfect for the job.

You'll hear this and that about intakes. Again, unless you're running a lot of power or you get a tune for an aftermarket intake, there really isn't any reason to use anything other than the stock box. If you feel the need to do something, get a K&N drop in filter for it.

STI corner splitters (I've already ripped both of mine off...oops, blew $125)

best mods under $500:
factory OEM short shift kit (not sure if this puts you out of street stock class)
Koyo race radiator (I've seen temp spikes too often) + Crucial racing 'cooling kit'
IC water sprayer mod if you don't have an STI
PnP/coated exhaust pipes (headers, up pipe, etc)
TMIC upgrade and hoses

I would definately say the aluminum wings, along with any kind of ground effects.
