I got a lot of questions about the film I put on my Ltd (in the DirtyImpreza Meet #1 video) so I wanted to post the contact info for the product. I'd also be interested in anything else people use.
The Surface Armor comes in big rolls and was pretty cheap (~$40 for 200ft). It was pretty easy to put on and very easy to take off (it's non-adhesive). It sticks very well to clean paint but not plastic. It only peeled up a little bit on the edges during the 100 mile drive to the meet and it stayed on for three days after the event. There were no chips or scratches so it worked pretty well. I've seen reference to a 3M product like this, but I couldn't find it. Contact info:
