Not sure how the weather is going to hold up for the weekend, but if it's dry enough it'll be on.

Yup, I'm just hoping it's dry enough. That and I hope I don't get forced to work overtime that day.

They said it was too wet for the event to happen. The co-chairs said it was so sloppy that the land owner didn't want us rutting it up too bad. Plus they said most vehicles wouldn't be able to get through without having to be towed out.

Any Idea on the track conditions? Whats it like??? Grass? Dirt? Rocks? Rut easy? How long is the track?

Check out the link I posted. Lots of pictures and a few videos.

Essentially, its a field that has an ever-changing track layout. Some elevation changes, nothing dramatic. The surface is dirt with a little bit of grass in spots. The course is generally smooth without any deep ruts. Lastly, the track length is usually about 7/10 of a mile depending on the layout. The longest it has been was 9/10 mile.

Wow, that looks like a fun time right there! Nice long track..

My friends don't want to come... The g/f wants to, but is a little under the weather at the moment so we are kind of playing it by ear.

I missed it. Ran out of time reassembling the car.
I saw that Kim Demotte (StL FTW!!) participated in the last event. Would have been neat to run with him.

M_anstrom - we'd love to have another driver at the next event. check the website for the schedule.
