If you change your own oil, or at least like to make the life of whoever does easier, take heed!

There are 4 plastic rivet type clips that help to hold the palstic cover on underneath your engine. Take these out, and lube em up! The mud got in those things and converted them to the more permanent sort of rivet on mine! Took forever to get them off while trying to be carefull not to break them. Blasted things...

Or you can buy a skidplate that has nice big fat bolts that are easy to remove, and protect the vitals underneath!

Yeah I was looking at my skid plate and thinking, "Wait that has noting to hold it in except the bolts, I'm so gonna drop that on my head when I need and oil change. "

yeah i figured out a way to do it by myself. I undo all the bolts except the front center bolt (it will support the whole thing). Then slowly back that one out. Once its near all the way out ill leave my foot under the bottom of the skid plate (towards the back of the car) and back the bolt completly out with one hand... the other hand supporting the front.

piece of cake. Or you can use a floor jack to support it as well.
