Now available,

I'm proud to announce the release of the Jackson Rally R_4 Brake Kit. This kit is for those of you with an 05' and up STI with the 5x114mm bolt pattern. This is a bolt on kit to allow the use of the 06-07 WRX 4pots with a real 15'' Rally wheel.

That takes care of the front. Now the rear will consist of machining the stock rotors and a new backing plate to allow the factory Brembo caliper to be moved closer to the center of the hub. This will allow fitment of the 15'' Rally wheel for the rear.

Kit contents:

(2) J_R R_4 Brake Rotor Hats
(2) J_R R_4 Spec Rotors
(2) J_R R_4 Rear Backing Plates
Hardware Kit
Includes machining of stock rear rotors (cust. supplies)

PM/Email for price

This kit requires the purchase of Subaru's 06-07 WRX 4POT front calipers and pads. I've seen these for around $528.00 on popular Subaru parts websites.

If you have 5x100 then you don't need this kit, you can do a swap with a WRX.

+1.

'04 STi can just do a straight swap with a WRX and those wheels should fit over the brakes too

Thats why 04 STi's pw0n all!

You guys and your fancy HVAC controls... LOL [/threadjack]

And Stronger Wheel bearings, and better oil pumps, and wider wheels, that should about cover it.

Then use the WRX brakes. I don't think you're grasping how direct the swap is for 04 STIs.

DOH! Didn't realize how old this thread was.

hey Tuffsti, at least for the front you can literally pull the 4-pot setup right off an '06 WRX and put it right onto your car.

What's wrong with the rear? IIRC you can get some rear 2 pots and you are good to go.

my buddy Rich, who has a GC8, recently converted to 5x100 Brembos all around, and i think it was a direct swap on all four corners. For the rear, i'm pretty sure you have to swap over the complete assembly- handbrake, hub, rotor/caliper, etc....

Nope, that wont work. The 04 front are direct replacement but the rears require the same mods as the 05's.
