Aerosim Widebody Kit (Finally!)

Just saw today that Aerosim has officially released their widebody kit for the GM chassis (93-01 coupe). This kit has been in "development" since before I got a subaru, its so good to see it finally done. $3500 for a carbon fiber version (fender weighs in at 2.5lbs). It is modeled off of the 99 WRC car so it has higher cut wheel arches and is wider than a 22b kit. 275 tires are possible (9.5" wheels).

Pretty sure this is a monumental day in subaru modding history. also note the time of the OP. 5:55AM gotta love it.

That is hotness. It's been too long, but I'm glad it has been made available to the public.

Seven+ years in the making, it better be top notch. Im actually thinking of seeing what he will charge for just the fenders and skirts. I'll wait until I have more money though.

dude my stength has gone out the window after seeing that you can get it in carbon fiber. im starting carbon crazy gc seibon make doors for the 2dr model and a trunk and aerosim makes a sweet hood. and the roof is a bolt in on my gc8 so im going to make a one off carbon roof. so good bye rally gc8 hello carbon crazy gc8 as soon as i get the kit i will post pics of the install and all the other carbon bits im going to throw on. wish me luck

There is another company that has that 22b widebody setup for a wagon but it's a little ricerish in my opinion (then again the god aweful colors they chose for the cars didn''t help)

when i was a silly ricer (read:18yrs old) i put a full widebody kit on my crx. now that i look back i think it was the ugliest car ive ever seen. and WAY TOO much trouble to install it. this isnt mine but this is what it looked, like. go ahead and laugh at me, i can handle it.

ou know it doesnt always matter how good it looks.. its the time spent and how clean the lines are.. dont beat urself up just cause you took ur crx to the next level.. is what seperates car enthusiests from actual car mechanics and drivers:eek:

yes but there is the matter of taste when performing such modifications. although i am glad i did it cause now i know how lame fiberglass is and how superior metal is.

um noo DI needs me.. i have multiple website promoting di.. ive passed out like 30 di cards anddd im active in the community hosting 2 small midwest meets and making videos and letting the di members stay at my place for the LSPR rally in a week.. sorry

and almost all my rally style youtube vids have DI sponsership in them.. as well as a video with over 5500 views in a few months

that CRX resembles a NSX in many ways with that body kit hehe. im not a fan of that kit .. the car is great though. but i prefer the EF!
