Ok... so i am really needing help on what I should do with my cars...

I got about 2k$ total to work with, within the next couple weeks, and will have more come the economic recovery package thing, Bush is pushing right now.... if it does come....

So I see it as I got 3 choices...

#1
Fix Paris with an ej257 block, slap my turbo stuff on it drive it, discontinue work on the legacy wagon till I get more funds (summer)... But end up keeping paris for a year or 2 more....

#2
Fix the wagon, with some kind of engine frankenbuild or swap in a JDM twin turbo motor, wait to fix Paris till the summer, then sell her ..... but MEANWHILE I still have to make car payments and insurance even though I'm not driving her...

#3
Buy a truck/jeep for 2k$ say eff the cars, declare bankruptcy, let the bank take Paris, finish fixing the wagon and the acura in the summer.....

My main reason behind wanting to sell Paris was to save some money cause I KNEW she was going to blow soon... and now that she did its like.. ok now what?

these are hard choices.. #3 i did.. its not worth it for a low debt like just paris. #2 sounds good except having to pay off paris and insurance. #1 is the smartest considering ur still building credit, u will have a reliable car, u will be insuring the car ur driving, and projects can always wait.

BTW #3 if u file bankruptcy chaper 7 they will more than likly want the jeep u just bought lol

dont do number 3... why do you ahve to pay insruance if you are gonna leave her sitting in a garage cause she doesnt run? only need to pay insurance if its driven or sitting on the streets

my bank for the loan requires full insurance at all times... or they will repo the car.... I talked to em about it before, when I lost my lisence for 6months....

yeah i just threw the bankruptcy thing out there for sh*ts and giggles.... I wouldn't do that, i'm thinking about buying a trailer on a few acres in the spring, and renting out whatever extra rooms I have.... My credit is actually good enough and I make more than enough money to do so....

Anyone have any short block recomendations?

I'm thinking of EJ257, but anyone got any other ideas? ~2000k$ or cheaper? Is a 2.0 block worth the money? Cobb used to have pre assembled blocks.. Stage 1 was around 1800$ its not listed on their site anymore.. anyone know if they still make em?

I would love to run 10-15psi if I can with my turbo, so lower compression and good internals is a must...

thanx!

the Local Parts Manager just told me an ej257 is 1650$ if I come pick it up @ the dealership...

Either an ej257 or an ej255 is a good choice.
