Nice looking car, as stated above though I'd be a bit worried about the lights being mounted so low if you do any gravel road driving. I love that lip on there though, looks awesome

Thanks for the comment. they work great from dusk till dawn. they have only been on the car for about a week or so and I have been flashed by no less than 10 people a day.. especialy on the interstate.. one guy pulled over to the center lane and let me pass then turned on his brights and left them on for 20 miles..didn't really bother me much since I have an auto-dimming rear view mirror and they were aimed at the ground where the factory fog lights are aimed. they could have been up a bit more say 3 inches or so but I have only scraped them once on a driveway and that was only the bolt holding on the light.. I threw a rubber spacer from a civic strut that goes between the strut and the bearing plate to bring them up.
This is the first stage to see about placement and until the shop gets a pipe bender.

The lip snapped two weeks ago... I went though a puddle that ended up by being a small pond in the back of my friends house and riped it off in three different sections. :-(

I am looking to refab the entire front bar to bring them up another 3" to 4" and try to incoperate a skid plate and a brush guard that they make for the GCs (one of my favorite body styles becides the bugeyes)

I like it, definitely a different way to mount lights.
Now all you need is a skid plate and you wont have to worry much about the lip

That is exactly what I was thinking. I have to find the right guage steel or aluminum and powder coat it from oxidation/rust.
The kicker is where in the hell would I mount it.. there is not a lot of places to run bolts through the front subframe without kinking. then again I could put a few compound bends in it and not use the pvc thing that the car came with.
By the way does anyone know how to repair fiberglass? so I can bolt on the front lip again.
