2007 Legacy XT wreck for sale

I was at a local auto recycler here in Denver called "The Bone Yard" picking up some used wheels for my OBS, and the manager took me out to the yard and showed me a wrecked '07 Legacy XT. Complete drivetrain is available, I think this is a milder version of the 2.5 STi engine. He said he didn't have a lot in the car, I bet $2800.00 would buy the drivetrain. I'm not sure what the final drive ratio is on these cars, but it sure would make a mean racer!

Damn me for not being born a year earlier! I can't get a job for three months, or that thing would so be swapped and put in my Legacy, it would be a beast... **** brown, hub caps, and under the hood, a '07 Legacy drivetrain hooked up to a fully built STi motor... Shut up. I can dream.
