WRC Portugal 2007 - Thoughts and comments, and Results

With the Rally de Portugal coming up pretty soon, let's get a thread started on member comments, opinions, predictions, etc.

Naturally, I'm a Pastrana and Block fan so I'll be rooting for them, but it looks like Atkinson might have a better chance, and Loeb will most likely come out in the top 3 after his victory at Mexico.

Subarus traditionally ran well there so I look for the new car to be comptetive again.

Of course there's that "hex" that Petter will need to overcome...


My predicted podium:

1. Seb
2. Petter
3. Gronholm

Remaining points places:

4. Hirvonen
5. Atkinson
6. Stohl
7. Sordo
8. H Solberg

I think we'll start to see some normalcy at the top since the works teams now have 4 events under their belts (2 teams with brand new cars: Citroen and Subaru). Stohl seems to be the only one of the privateer teams that has a constant good outing. Galli, H Solberg, Latvala, etc. are too inconsistent.
