Hey guys I am in need of some help here!! I have a 02 rs with a ej25a1 in it. When I got the car it ran great no cel lights or anything. But recently the head gaskets went so I decided to get a new motor from Subaru Specialist Inc. out of traverse city MI. So I did the swap myself and did a little bit of a build on the new motor. So now to my problem. The stock intake system was all hacked up when I got the car as you see in the pics it's pretty much some just cut the upper half of the box out to utilize the scoop. Apparently I'm supposed to have a MAF in there somewhere but I don't see any signs of one. The question is why am I just realizing this now? My guess is my smoking habits haha but I have been wanting to get a Gravelsport type intake to further use the scoop, seems how it ran so good with the current intake setup. So can somebody please chime in and help! Is it possible to do a MAF to map conversion?? I have no clue what's going on with this!
