Ok so I got my JDM 02 projector headlights put in, stock Ichikoh ballasts and all and low and behold the jerkoff that sold the whole kit to me on ebay neglected to mention that both ballasts are faulty...I made up the custom wiring harness to fit the new headlight assemblies so the wiring is there and ready to go but now I have to get a new set of ballasts to match. Can anyone tell me where to find a new set of stock 2002 JDM STI HID Ballasts?

haha thats a fun thing to find and to find out lol.. i have been working with HID kits since 2004 and when the ballasts go out its always hard to contact them for new ones unless u know there language! its funny cause most ballasts will hook up to most hid bulb wires.. take a picture of the bulbs, ballasts and igniters(if it has them)

and this is funny cause i just through away some working balasts just recently! and they were ballast and igniter in one! lol

but ill look around for you but if u are going for the whole JDM thing and they have to bee those ones then ok, but if u just want HIDs its cheaper to just get a new kit

Hey righteous! thanks a whole bunch...I either want the Ichikoh ballasts that the JDM 02 STI comes with or a set of ballasts that I dont have to do a whole new wiring job for because wiring in the Ichikoh projectors and ballasts was a pretty decent pain in the ass and I really dont want to have to do it again...

I also Sent an Email to Ichikoh directly and the form said it had to be in English...so Im also hopin to hearback from them, I called mach V too and they said that no one here in the States is even allowed to sell them and to check around canada...weird this US of A is...

I'm not a fan of HID's for the vast majority of applications especially headlights. Not trying to hate or rain on anyone elses ride, just my opinion after seeing one too many cars with poor setups.

Well sorry guys it took me a while to get back to you on this...Im in the middle of a big move at the moment. Anyway as it turned out I looked around a bit and after careful consideration and research, I just went with the 8500k kit D2S kit from Texon. I talked to a lot of guys over at nasty sock that had really good results and pics with that particular kit on their jdm Sti projectors. Thx a bunch for everyones help tho.
