I seriously can't decide on which exhaust to get I want to keep it relatively inexpensive but not crappy eBay stuff. I was thinking along the lines of SPT Catback, Tanabe Super Medalion Hyper, or Step it up a bit and get the Blitz Nur Spec R. Blitz I'm just worried about clearance issues from the ground I like to go off road sometimes. And I can't decide if I want super loud or just a subtle rumble. I can't really find clips of the tanabe either so idk if you guys could help me.:waving:

It's a bit to expensive and I've tried gettin my hands on a used one but they sell like hot cakes. I'm leanin towards tanabe but I can't find pictures of what it looks like.

+1 on the DIY exhaust. I've got a Brosal muffler with a custom 2.5" CBE welded up at my local muffler shop. Cost me a grand total of $85.00. My little 2.2 sounds better than half the WRX's running around town(IMO), I got decent gains from it not sure exactly how much as I've never dyno'd it but the seat of pants meter says maybe 10hp and most importantly I'm not worried about ripping it off when we hit the back roads.

i want to get an exhaust system (cat back) that sounds like a Eurosport one. my VW sounded so sexy, you almost couldn't hear it at idle when it was warm. we're talking a very very low pitched rumble, that's what i want!!

I got a cat-back off ebay, the SRS brand one, it's an N1 style one... I'm soo happy with it, it sounds awesome and it comes with a silencer if it's too loud, shipped for around $250 and i installed it in about 20 min... i think if you search youtube there are a few videos of it, it hasn't bothered me on the times we went out to the dry lakebeds
