[me = noob]
Is it worth it?
What would I need - rotors/calibers/pads - new master cylinder and/or brake lines?
What would the parts (estimate) cost?
FWIW, I might have some extra cash left from what I allocated for something else so I'm just getting an idea if this is feasible.

You basically swithc out the backing plates for the drum wuithg those from a disc.
so this makes the backing plate, caliper mount and caliper, disc/drum rotor.
but you hve to press out the hub to do so, and break down all those suepension linkaged.
the parts themselves would be cheap from a junkyard provided you can get them off. It would be easiest with a sawzall and chop out the whole knuckle.
there is no need to replace the MC.

Thanks for the reply.
I understand, more or less, what you describe. So, for now, it doesn't seem worth it.
