Hella 500s w/ factory foglight harness ?

Hi guys I have a 98 OBS with fogs, they are sandblasted to the point they are useless. My question is can I wire a pair or Hella 500s to the factory wiring ?

Not sure about directly (may be differences in the electrical system) but you can use the factory wiring to control the relay. Wire up the hella's so that when you hit the stock fogs it triggers the relay and turns on the hella's.

hella 500s are 55watt just like the stockers so there should be no problem running them with the stock wiring. If you upgrade the bulbs to higher wattage you should relay it up

just a follow up, that my 500s are hooked up to the factory harness and seems to be working fine. they are very bright. SO yea its seems to work. :lol2:
