I saw this a while ago and didn't really think anything of it, but I saw it again and was just wondering if anyone has ever seen this before?

thats pretty cool.. me and brd360sk8 have been checking it out lol..but the wheels... those are the wheels that rub on the calipers in the 15"x6.5" size right? or is that fixed by the brakes he supplies? cause then we would need 15"x7"...

The supplied wheels match the supplied brakes.

He's a Canadian race driver, I guess he's either clearing out his garage or he has a line on this stuff..

there's a lot of 'what ifs' in there....so, exactly what suspension? BIG what if...

what if you don't fit in the sparco evo seats?

34mm restrictor....machined to fit into what turbo/inlet hose?

etc, etc.

based on the listing, it says it's for an 04 sti so i would guess machined to the sti turbo (vf39?)

The wheels are our Team Dynamics Pro Rally 1. http://www.teamilluminata.com./Shop/TeamDynamics/TeamDynamics.htm
They fit over all stock WRX brakes including the 4 pots and the Little Brake Kit thingy too. Never seen them in 6.5 on this side of the pond though.

BTW no 15" rim is going to fit ove the stock STi brakes as I am sure you know.

Ok so I emailed the guy and asked him a few questions:

What kind of suspension is it?

Is the top version of Hot Bits for Rally with 40adjusments for compresion, 20adjustments for extension, 2springs on each strut and external gas canister + the strut mounting bearings with camber adjustments.

What kind of brakes? (4 pot front/2 pot rear?)

Yes,4pistons/caliper-front and 2pistons/caliper-rear, all original subaru parts .
Are you willing to part out or is this just a package deal?

The whole point of this is the package deal. I had many guys that wish to get only some of the parts, but i just can't afford the time to deal with so many people+shipping for each of them .You know the price is realy good deal for the whole package. Once you have it, will be much easy for you to get some money back on the parts you don't need if you wish to do so.

And finally, this is a lot of stuff to ship and I live in California so I was wondering if you have priced out shipping or what other methods are out there.

I need to know where are you located in California and i'll fiind out how cheap i can get all the parts shipped to you with some friends who run a Canada-US Truck Company.

I have read mixed reviews about the Hot Bits suspension. Also, I don't have $8500 to spend at once. So if anyone that is maybe in the NE of the country, it seems like it might be a good deal, that is if you have the money and you need ALL the parts.

FWIW Davenport Racing has a build package. You drop the car off, they build it for you.

Thats kinda cool. Although, I think half the fun of Rallying is starting from scratch and building your own rally monster.

I'll second that. But it is nice to know there are those who are much more knowledgeable about it and efficient about building than a newb like me... sometimes it would just work out better to go to them instead of try it myself. Some things I get myself in neck deep into, and it would have been better to go to someone who knew what they were doing.
But since I have all the time in the world (minus school) and no money, haha they are out of the question. Might was well do what I can.

While it's fun, keep in mind that most people who try to build their own first rally car fail miserably.

That package has alot of goodies in it! Unfortunately I'm not ready for stage rally yet. I've heard that those light pods basically cut off the TMIC from airflow, does anyone know if that is true or not?

That would depend on the design of them.
